Scope
CF2 Construction, LLC—a joint venture between Conti Federal Services and Cherokee Nation Environmental Solutions, a tribally owned, 8(a), HUBZone-certified construction firm—successfully completed its first contract award from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Tulsa District: the renovation of Building 9201 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
Tinker AFB, a strategic installation supporting over 141 associated Air Force units and more than 75,000 personnel, is home to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC-WAG). This center, reporting to the Air Force Materiel Command, manages Air Force weapon systems across their entire lifecycle—from inception through retirement.
Originally built as a General Motors paint facility, Building 9201 was transformed to meet the evolving mission needs of the U.S. Air Force. The renovation project included converting a portion of the facility into an ICD-705 compliant space, featuring a combination of secure, semi-secure, and unsecure operational zones. The upgraded areas were designed and built to meet strict Department of Defense and Air Force security and construction standards. The renovated facility enhances the Air Force’s capabilities in lifecycle management and secure mission operations.
Under the U.S. Small Business Association Mentor-Protégé Program, Conti Federal Services and Cherokee Nation Environmental Solutions, a Cherokee Federal Company, have partnered to create CF2 Construction, jointly pursuing, bidding and executing on a variety of federal construction projects. CF2 Construction is also delivering a loading dock renovation at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth.
