Conti Federal Services is currently performing the full repair and renovation of a vacant military warehouse located in Mainz-Kastel, Germany. This project will convert a two-story (three-floor) concrete post-and-beam structure into a modern, safe, and mission-ready facility supporting U.S. military operations in the region.

Originally constructed to support logistics functions, the building is situated on Gen. Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, formerly Wiesbaden Army Airfield, home to U.S. Army Europe and Africa Headquarters, Installation Management Command-Europe, and other key military units and organizations.

The scope of work includes:

  • Structural upgrades to address existing deficiencies and ensure long-term stability
  • Life safety improvements in accordance with international building codes
  • Energy conservation measures, including enhancements to the building envelope
  • Critical infrastructure systems upgrade to meet operational and code-compliance requirements
  • Optimizing the interior layout to support improved workflow and functionality

Conti Federal is performing this project on an active military installation, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption to surrounding operations. Safety, security, and schedule adherence remain top priorities throughout execution. Once complete, the renovated facility will provide a durable, energy-efficient, and fully code-compliant environment, supporting the evolving needs of U.S. military personnel stationed at Clay Kaserne and contributing to broader operational readiness across the European theater.

Conti Federal continues to support USACE Europe’s mission with ongoing projects including an $8.2 million design-build task order contract for the repair and renovation of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Barracks Building 8234 at Smith Barracks, U.S. Army Garrison and a $65.8M contract for the construction of Secure Site Annexes in Baumholder, Germany.
