Conti Federal Completes Contract for the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC)

Contract supports Army cleanup and environmental quality to enable soldier readiness

Conti Federal Services, a leading federal construction and design-build firm specializing in environmental remediation, is proud to announce successful completion of the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC) Cleanup Program Support Services contract.

Conti Federal supported the USAEC by preparing ten Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) solicitations, ten Community Involvement Plans (CIPs), and ten Land Use Control Implementation Plans (LUCIPs), as well as providing RAB management support services for various Army installations across the country.

As part of developing and updating the LUCIPs, Conti Federal conducted site visits of land use controls (LUCs) at installations across the country, including Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant in Nebraska, Anniston Army Depot in Alabama, Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant in Minnesota, Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada, Fort Huachuca and Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, Milan Army Ammunition Plant in Tennessee, Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania, and both Yakima Training Center and Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. Conti Federal also supported in-person RAB public meetings for Tarheel Army Ammunition Plant and Fort Bliss. The meetings provided the public with an opportunity to learn about the ongoing environmental restoration efforts at the respective installations.

“This project underscores our commitment to supporting the military mission through environmental support and strengthens our dedication to supporting the military community engagement,” said Laura Tobin, Vice President and Environmental Business Line Leader at Conti Federal. “Conti Federal’s innovative approaches to environmental solutions continue to enable us to provide support to Army and National Guard installations across the country.”

Conti Federal’s environmental project portfolio includes ongoing projects across the country, including remediation of the Salford Quarry Superfund Site in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, the Tutu Wellfield Superfund Site in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Unimatic Manufacturing Corporation Superfund Site, in Essex County, New Jersey and Pike Hill Copper Mines Superfund Site in Corinth, Vermont.
