Conti Federal, a leading U.S. government construction and engineering company specializing in military and secure construction, has been awarded a $37,912,347 design-build contract for the renovation of Building 631 for the Disaster Resiliency Program (DRP) Formal Training Unit at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota.
Awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District, the renovated building unit will ensure the uninterrupted operation of Formal Training Unit activities in the event of a disaster affecting other facilities and installations.
The scope of the project will include interior demolition to substantially reconfigure and renovate the building following the ICD/ICS 705, DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. The project also includes sitework and communications infrastructure to support all DRP facilities planned at Grand Forks AFB.

Work is estimated to be completed on this project by March 2026.
Conti Federal is currently working on several key projects in collaboration with the USACE Omaha District. These include the development of a B-21 RF Hangar Facility at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota, a helicopter facility at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and an F-35 Fighter Alert Shelter at Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin.
