Conti Federal Services, a leading U.S. government construction and engineering firm specializing in military construction, complex critical infrastructure, disaster response and recovery, and environmental remediation projects assembled and donated 800 hygiene kits, supplying them to the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, a shelter focused on providing residential housing to over 500 unsheltered individuals each day.

Conti Federal partnered with Clean the World, a nonprofit dedicated to providing soap and hygiene products to millions of people around the world through the recycling and reprocessing of discarded amenities from hotels. Clean the World’s initiative to provide hygiene products to those in need, while systematically preventing unnecessary landfill also aligns with Conti Federal’s corporate responsibility initiative for environmental improvement. The donation of the assembled hygiene kits to the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is especially close to the values of Conti Federal.

“Nearly 13% of the homeless population in the United States are veterans,” explains Meredith Koons, Director of Marketing and Small Business Programs. “As a federal contractor who specializes in military construction, we wanted to support a cause that not only helps our local community, but also our nation’s heroes.”
