Estimated project completion is September 2023

Conti Federal Services, a leading U.S. government construction and engineering firm specializing in complex critical infrastructure, disaster response and recovery, and environmental remediation projects, has been awarded a $24,307,063 firm-fixed-price contract by The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), Southeast, to construct an F-35A flight simulator facility and squadron operations/aircraft maintenance unit facility at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth, Texas.

The  construction includes a new 20,000 square-foot flight simulator facility building and a 33,729 square-foot squadron operations/aircraft maintenance unit (Sq OPS/AMU) building, which each contain secure and unsecured areas. Prior to the construction of these buildings, the project entails site building demolition, asbestos abatement, site pavement and utility demolition and site drainage. The new facilities’ architectural appearance will comply with the Naval Air Station Fort Worth Installation Appearance Plan, and contain secure areas adhering to ICD/ICS 705 requirements.

“Conti Federal has extensive experience in national defense projects – especially with aircraft maintenance, shelter and operations facilities – which require close attention to detail and effective collaboration with our military and trade partners,” said Peter Ceribelli, Conti Federal CEO. “We are honored to have won this competitive contract, and I am confident in our team’s ability to complete another critical project for the U.S. Navy and NAVFAC.”

Conti Federal has completed several similar complex infrastructure projects, including the construction of F-35 Hardened Aircraft Shelters (HAS), secure buildings, and hangars for USACE Europe.

The project is estimated to be completed in September 2023.
