Conti Federal Completes Satellite Communications Infrastructure in Brussels, Belgium

Project represents strategic investment in allied mission readiness

Conti Federal Services, a leading global construction and design-build company specializing in military and secure construction, is proud to announce the completion of critical infrastructure in support of satellite communications operations in Brussels, Belgium.

Awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District, this critical infrastructure enables the installation of communications equipment, representing a strategic investment in mission readiness.

Conti Federal delivered design-build services for custom foundations and external electrical infrastructure tailored to end user operational requirements. This included leading design charrettes and reviews to ensure structural adequacy for local environmental and wind load conditions, supporting the future antenna tower installation.

“This project plays a vital role in strengthening secure satellite communications for operations,” said Brooks O’Steen, Cyber Security Manager at Conti Federal. “By enabling the installation of satellite communications within such a complex environment, we’re not just delivering infrastructure—we’re enhancing the resilience and reliability of mission-critical data flow in support of global defense operations. Our team’s coordination, precision, and commitment to security were essential every step of the way.”

This project underscores Conti Federal’s ability to deliver secure, mission-critical facilities in highly sensitive environments, while balancing international regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement, all while executing with a Done Once, Done Right mindset.

Conti Federal continues to support the USACE Europe District’s mission throughout the region including a $65.8M contract for the construction of Secure Site Annexes and a design-build task order for the repair and renovation of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Barracks Building 8234 at Smith Barracks, both at the U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Rheinland-Pfalz in Baumholder, Germany, as well as a $59M Secure Renovation in Mainz-Kastel, Germany.
