The CMMC program is an assessment framework developed by the Department of Defense (DoD), designed to enforce the protection of sensitive information including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI).
The current CMMC program is a tiered model, meaning that the level of cybersecurity that organizations must meet is dependent on both the type and sensitivity of the information being handled. Organizations seeking to work with Conti Federal on Department of Defense contracts must be CMMC compliant. Compliance ensures the protection of shared sensitive information and demonstrates a commitment to upholding the principles of our national security.
